This is a graph of breeding for different age class deer in Minnesota. You can see that peak breeding occurs mid-November. That period right before and during the sharp increase to peak breeding has been the best for me over the years.
This is a rut graph for Minnesota that also breaks out breeding date by doe age class. No significant difference except for fawns. Breeding will occur from early October and into December…but the peak is mid-November.
