Your article was right on with what I have experienced over the years. In fact last wee in October to the first week of November was always the best. Until I started keeping better notes and comparing them with my buddies. Now it is for all of us October 18th – November 10th give or take a day or two. Plus weather , we noticed that hot slowed them down, or moved or shortened this window and mild to cool weather sped it up or lengthened it. This was refreshing to read that we were not the only ones to see this.
